Steve Berti retired from the U. S. Army Special Forces.
Then he and his wife Rose, established Heritage Jewelers In 1974.

They were one of the first to cater to the military with custom jewelry.

Steve designed the "The Special Forces Ring" pictured here.
He was granted a design patent for it by the United States Patent Office.
It is the ring of choice for Special Forces both active and retired.

A design patent was also granted for the 82nd Airborne Ring. 

It also remains one of the most distinctive jewelry pieces in the US today.

 

The popularity of the rings raised customer demand for diverse military jewelry.
